Personal Profile

Mark is an executive coach and trainer based in Singapore with clients throughout Asia and the UK. Mark brings to his coaching 25 years of experience developed in management and board level roles with multinationals in Europe and Asia. Mark specialises in coaching executives in leadership, with a reputation for being able to bring forth the underlying conversations needed to unlock a leader's full potential. Mark is known for his ability to create a close relationship with his clients and at the same time provide the directness often appreciated and needed by senior executives. Mark also specialises in teaching coaching skills to managers within organisations.

In addition to his role as a coach, Mark is the Managing Partner of one of Asia's most successful transformational training organisations. Having opened the company in 1995, Mark has built a business that has trained or coached over half a million people. In addition to his corporate speciality, Mark has led projects to design and deliver training and coaching interventions for the Malaysian Government around Character Building, the United Nations for their interventions in Asia around HIV, the Singapore Police Force Mentoring Program, UNICEF and more.

Mark started his career as a management trainee with Unilever in London. With an accounting background he developed a career to encompass finance, logistics, IT and planning. Coming to Asia in 1990, Mark filled leadership and board roles in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, and Korea before finalising his Unilever career as Commercial / Finance Director in Malaysia. The establishment of a transformational and coaching business saw Mark continue his stay in Malaysia but then led him to opening offices and living in Indonesia and Singapore where he is currently based. The group also has offices and clients in India and the UK as well as partner offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.

Graduating from UK's Warwick business school, Mark is a qualified accountant (A.C.M.A.) and professionally certified coach (P.C.C. & N.C.C.). He is accredited to teach MBTI and FIRO-B instruments, is an NLP practitioner and teaches on Newfield Network's coach training programs.

Mark is single and has homes in Singapore and Thailand and when not working enjoys sport especially playing football and golf or participating in triathlons and yoga. He is a keen movie watcher as well an ardent fan of his favourite football team.
