Jaya Machet, Founder and Managing Director of Coaching Tiger, a specialist in leadership coaching is passionate about people management. Jaya's coaching expertise builds on a strong foundation of over 20 years in senior management positions in Nokia Treasury, including Global Head of Cash Management.

She has also been Nokia's Regional Treasurer for Asia-Pacific, managing high performance, cross-cultural virtual teams across continents on a daily basis and consistently being scored in the top tier of leaders. She brings an unusual blend of a senior level corporate experience and hands-on leadership coaching expertise. Jaya uses her business experience and her proven track record as a leader to help the client to navigate their organisation and build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, senior leaders as well as their teams. This enables them to accelerate their success.

Her deep insight of working on the "buy side" of the Financial Services industry has resulted in a natural coverage of the Financial Services industry. Jaya focuses on unleashing the potential of her clients, helps them become more aware of their impact and this improved EQ and self-awareness enables them to build stronger interpersonal relationships and makes them influential and successful leaders.

Jaya decided to become an Executive coach after experiencing firsthand the power of Executive coaching. This prompted her in 2007 to do her Masters in Counselling (Monash University, Australia) to deepen her understanding of this area. She also holds BA in Economics and Psychology (Bombay University, India). Jaya is a Newfield Network Certified Executive Coach in Ontological Coaching and an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is also a professionally trained performance coach from the Asia Pacific Coach Institute. She is certified for MBTI® Step I & II as well as Benchmarks® 360° assessment tools.

Jaya's interests lie in cross-cultural relationships and helping to develop women leaders. Having spent half her life in India and the other half studying and working in Switzerland, she successfully bridges Eastern and Western thinking, with an in-depth understanding of both cultures, being a Third Culture Kid (TCK) herself. She holds Swiss and French passports and is a Singapore Permanent Resident.
