The ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a
thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize
their personal and professional potential.
Professional coaching is an interactive process that helps individuals
and organizations improve their performances and achieve extraordinary
results. Professional coaches work with clients in all areas, including
business, career, finances, health and relationships. As a result of
professional coaching, clients set better goals, take more action, make
better decisions, and more fully use their natural strengths.
To ensure the quality of the coaching profession and standards in
Singapore, the 2010-2011 ICF Singapore Executive Committee has
established new requirements for Coaches to be listed on this “Find a
Coach” section.
Coaches will now be listed either under the category "ICF Credentialed
Coaches" or “Trained Coaches” based on their respective coaching
qualifications.
Find a
Credentialed Coach
Coaches listed here are professional coaches who have been credentialed by
the International Coach Federation (ICF). They have met ICF’s stringent
requirements of coaching.
- Associate Certified Coach (ACC):
minimum 60 hours of Coach-specific Training; minimum 100 hours of coaching experience; coached by a mentor coach
- Professional Certified Coach (PCC):
minimum 125 hours of Coach-specific Training; minimum 750 hours of coaching experience; coached by a mentor coach
- Master Certified Coach (MCC):
minimum 200 hours of Coach-specific Training; minimum 2,500 hours of coaching experience; coached by a mentor coach
Find a Trained Coach
Coaches listed here are Professional Coaches who have completed a minimum of
60 hours of Coach-specific Training.
ICF Global
You can find listings of all ICF members globally and details of which
coaches are accredited as ACC, PCC or MCC at the ICF Global Website.

section of the ICF Singapore Chapter website, please download the
Coach Profile Requirements (PDF) and
Coach Profile Application form (WORD).
