Marmee received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics/Economics from Bowdoin College, USA. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching from i-Coach Academy and the Stellenbosch Business School in Cape Town, South Africa. She is currently continuing her advanced education in Counselling and Psychotherapy by pursuing a Master of Social Science from Edith Cowen University (ECU), Australia. Marmee is interested in helping expatriate families make the most out of their unique experiences. She is very familiar with the expatriate lifestyle and its impact on families after living in South Africa for five years and France for twelve years with her husband and three children. Some areas of particular interest are trailing spouses and families, midlife, third-culture kids, bi-cultural marriages, women in the workplace and optimizing work performance during transition periods. Marmee is one of three people in Singapore trained in Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) for couples and families. She started her career in the international corporate setting and continues to work, via her locally-established business MC Consulting & Coaching, as a corporate coach for expatriates, local business leaders and multi-cultural teams. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and participates in the local Singapore chapter. She also is currently working for Von Auer Psychology Centre as a counsellor as part of her ECU fieldwork. Marmee has lived in Singapore for over two years, and she speaks English and French. |
