Your background and experience with ICF

I have been a member of ICF since 2003 and have been an actively involved in the Singapore chapter since relocating here in 2005. I am currently serving as President of ICF Singapore this past year and have led the executive committee in the delivery of our vision to “engage our members for coaching excellence”. Highlights of the past year include various successful initiatives including five new Coaching for Community (C4C) programs through which hundreds of hours of pro-bono coaching was delivered by a third of our members; monthly meetings attended by record numbers who experienced workshops delivered by top-quality speakers; a significant rise in new members and a change to the chapter’s constitution which will lead to a stronger and more sustainable organisation serving our coaching community in Singapore and beyond.

What do you envision contributing to the Singapore Chapter?

If re-elected as President, I will continue to contribute to building on our chapter’s strong reputation through leveraging my extensive regional and global network. I will lead the executive committee in the delivery of creative and impactful initiatives for the benefit of our members and the customers we serve. We will continue to feature world-class thought-leaders, and C4C initiatives that will reach an even wider market. In addition, I will continue to be one of the creative forces behind International Coaching Week and support planning for the next ICF Singapore coaching conference. After attending the ICF Global Leaders Forum in Atlanta this March, I will lead the implementation of ideas and learning from the collaboration and networking with other chapter presidents from around the world. I will inspire and lead a team of dedicated volunteers serving our coaching community and becoming a stronger and more sustainable organisation.
