ICF Singapore Chartered Chapter 2017-2018 Executive Committee Nominee

Linda Eunson Bio
Director, Alumni/Corporate Relations and Career Management
University of Chicago Booth School of Business

I have had careers in many different industries including telecommunications, technology, aviation, executive search and higher education; in various capacities including software development, marketing/sales and human resources; and in various geographies including Canada, the US, Europe and Asia.

I moved to Singapore in 1994 and joined Booth in 2002. My job at Booth is the best job that I have ever had: “I work for a top brand, am surrounded by smart people: faculty, staff, and of course students and alumni from every industry, every function and every geography. I find it very motivating and rewarding especially since connecting people and constant learning new are my passions”. In my roles at Booth over the last 15 years, I have coached close to 2000 mid-to-senior-level career professionals.

I try to balance work life with volunteer work. I was on the founding board of a professional business women’s organization in Singapore and served as its President. I was on the Executive Committee of the American Club for a number of years and served as Vice-President and Secretary of the Club. I was a volunteer guide with the Asian Civilisations Museum, National Museum and the Peranakan museums in Singapore for over 10 years.

I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business in Montreal.

What can I bring to ICF:
  • Many years of experience working in and leading volunteer organizations.
  • An extensive network in Singapore, Asia and beyond.
  • Experience with sourcing speakers, organizing events and public speaking.
  • Enthusiasm for coaching and belief in the promotion of professionalism in the practice of coaching.
