Topic: COP/ Life Coaching  ( For ICF Members Only )

We will be offering 4 sessions in 2017 for life coaches to help them boost their presence and skills by using and creating powerful coaching tools.

The focus of this COP will be to:

  • Create your Life Coaching model : a unique representation on how you view coaching and support clients.
  • Create your life coaching powerful questions and structure.
  • What are the assessment tools and theories that can be used in a life coaching session?
  • How to move the coaching conversation to a deeper level using creativity, neuroscience and mindfulness to impact the lives of your clients and move them forward.

 

Facilitator Bio:

Nawal

Nawal is a Personal Development Coach, PCC, NLP and mindfulness Practitioner specialised in life and Career transitions. She combines intuition, creativity and honest communication to help people unleash their potential, move forward and achieve their goals while staying congruent with their values.

Nawal has 20 years experience in marketing, brand management, communication and HR strategy in different fields, cultures and countries. She holds a Master Degree in Human Resources, she is MBTI Certified. Certified in Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholders Centred Coaching Program and holds a Globsmart Profile© certification. She is a founder of UTP Coaching Solutions. She runs coaching workshops in different topics related to expatriation, cross-cultural awareness, positive thinking and self-management. She also conducts talks at conferences about behavioural change.

Ruchi

Ruchi is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with a focus on interpersonal relations and life coaching. Her main objective is to help her clients move forward in life, find fulfilment, success and happiness. Guiding individuals through a transition is part of this process, making them feel empowered and accomplished. Ruchi is also a professionally trained lawyer who has practised in India and Hong Kong.

The focus of this COP will be to:

    • Deepen our own mindfulness, awareness and presence as coaches
    • Enhance our knowledge and understanding of how mindfulness applies in specific client coaching situations
    • Practice different mindful techniques together
    • Broaden our range of mindful interventions to offer clients
    • Cultivating a network and friendships with other coaches

You are welcome to register and join all of them or some of them. The session will be facilitated by Jane Grafton and all are invited to share.

 Facilitator Bio:

Jane

Jane Grafton, ACCspecializes in Corporate Based Mindfulness Training and Coaching. She has worked with workplace mindfulness since 2003.Jane’s background is in project management, training and development, HR Management and Leadership. 

She completed Coach Certification Training at both Georgetown University, Washington DC and Results Coaching Singapore. She holds an MBA, a Certificate in Neuroleadership and is MBTI, Firo-B and TMS accredited. In 1991 she was awarded the MBE for Leadership Development in the British Army.

Amongst many other benefits, clients report improvements in self awareness, focus, sense of personal direction, depth and meaning, less stress, fewer habitual thought patterns and fixation and overall increased sense of happiness.

Topic: COP : New Coaches

Do you consider yourself to be a new coach? Are you thinking of making the transition from your day job into full-time coaching? Have you finished your coach training but not sure where to go from here?

This group is for new, aspiring coaches to get together to discuss some of the issues facing new coaches and provide a network of support for those who are just finding their way in the new world of coaching.

We will be getting together to brainstorm ideas around some of the challenges faced by new coaches.

Some of the topics we will address will be:

  • How to get started
  • Resources to set up
  • Finding your niche
  • What kind of coach do I want to be

It is an opportunity to meet and broaden your network and friendships with other new coaches who are at a similar point in their coaching careers.

 Facilitator Bio:

Molly

Molly Martel is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) who is passionate about not just her own life, but also all those around her.

From 1997 to 2015, Molly enjoyed an international career with Standard Chartered Bank, a global financial institution, working in Singapore, Dubai and London. Her career covered a wide range of roles across retail banking and commercial banking including wealth management, customer experience, business development, strategic planning, process transformation and governance. Whilst on a sabbatical leave, Molly attended a coaching workshop out of curiosity. It changed the course of her career and thus began her exhilarating journey as a coach.

Molly believes in making every day count and in inspiring others to do the same. She has a dream that she will make a difference to everyone she meets.

Candy

Candy Lim is a Career Resilence Facilitator and Executive Coach.

With more than 19 years of corporate experience, Candy has worked with a diverse clientele throughout her career. She has gained gamut of experiences across several industries ranging from Industrial Chemical, Manufacturing to HR consultancy and Head Hunting.

Candy is M.A.D. about Making A Difference in the life of others in the areas of Personal and Interpersonal mastery through coaching. She believes in continuous learning and is passionated about empowering individuals as well as igniting passion and excellence in others.

In the area of professional development, besides a trained process facilitator, Candy had also attained a Full Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). She is a Certified Tetramap Facilitator and a Certified Sales Trainer with Sales and Marketing Institute (SMI).

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Our ICF Past Presidents Nancy Hughes (MCC) and Sabreena Andriesz (MCC), will be holding a series of talks/sessions on topics to support ICF credentialed coaches develop their coaching mastery. 

During these 90 minute mastery sessions we will be focusing on the one of the ICF Core Competencies.

The objectives of the sessions will be:

  • To further develop our self-awareness and enhance our coaching competencies.
  • To facilitate deep conversations among peers that connect us to a learning community

Sabreena and Nancy will facilitate the group through discussion, whole-body learning and experiential exercises with the intention of creating a deeper level of understanding the coaching stance that we take on.

Your eligibility for these sessions depend being an member of ICF Singapore, holding at least 500 hours of coaching or have earned the  ICF PCC credential.

Please be there at 10.15am to greet everyone and settle in. We will be starting promptly at 10.30am.

Speaker Bio

Nancy_HugesNancy Hughes, MCC is an executive coach with over 20 years of experience in leadership development, including coaching, facilitation and creating executive education programs. Known for her authentic, open, honest, and flexible approach, she enjoys challenging her clients to maximize growth. She works with senior to middle managers within large, multinational, and government related companies. When clients partner with Nancy they benefit from her significant international experience and cross-cultural awareness. Fluent in English and French, she has lived and worked in the United States, France, and Taiwan before settling in Singapore in 1998.

Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in French and international economics from Swarthmore College, and her master’s degree in European studies from the Centre Europeen in Nancy, France. She is professionally trained as a coach from Corporate Coach University and Newfield Network and is certified with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) where she holds the designation of Professional Certified Coach (MCC). Nancy is a member of the International Coaching Federation; one of the founding members of the ICF Singapore chapter and was President of the Executive Board of the ICF Singapore Chapter from 2006-2008.

SabreenaSabreena Andriesz MSoc Sc, MCC, CBC

Known for her integrative approach, Sabreena is passionate about partnering her clients towards the fulfillment of their desired performance targets and catalyzing individuals and their organizations to live and work with authenticity and courage. Sabreena has devoted the past fifteen years to senior executive coaching and team development with over 3,500 hours of coaching experience in diverse industries focused primarily on leadership development.

Sabreena is a Master Certified Coach, with a Masters degree in Social Science and is accredited to administer various psychometric testing instruments; she continues to hone her skills through her doctoral studies in Organizational Development and Change. Sabreena is Past President of the International Federation Singapore Chapter from 2009 to 2011 andcontinues to serve her professional community of practice through mentoring, supervising and facilitating small and large group learning.
