CoP : Mastery in Coaching
TOPIC: NARRATIVE COACHING
"Beware of the stories you tell yourself, for you will surely be lived by them."
This quote is attributed, perhaps erroneously, to Shakespeare, but it makes perfect sense. Everything we do, every memory we hold, every emotion we feel has a story wrapped around it. If you want to change anything in your world, there is an element of changing the stories, or the narrative that you tell yourself. It is for this reason that narrative coaching can be such a powerful approach to change; it goes to the essence of who we are and how we view our world.
You will learn about:
- What the narrative approach is
- Why it is so powerful
- And give some tips to begin to bring elements of this method to your own coaching sessions
