We are delighted to welcome ICF Singapore members back to Peer Coaching! Come along to connect with other coaches as we co-create a space for learning, sharing and mutual support in service of further developing ourselves as professional coaches. Over the years, peer coaching has taken on various formats including case studies and workshops by members of the community on different topics. Over time we may introduce different formats such as fishbowl coaching, coach-the-coach, coaching supervision, tools and best practice sharing, etc. In this first, re-launch session we will be facilitating the case study format - a tried and true peer coaching process that delivers valuable learning for all present. We will need a 'case provider' for the session, so let us know if you would like to submit a current coaching challenge as the *case study (see below for details). There will of course be time to connect and network with the other coaches present and we will also briefly review the ICF Core Competencies. You will gain ICF CCEUs towards your certification. To ensure full engagement, participation is limited to the first 12 member coaches that register.
The session will last approximately 2 hours (timings are not precise):
- Welcome, networking and check-ins (20 minutes)
- Overview of peer coaching using the case study format (10 minutes)
- Review of ICF Core Competencies (10 minutes)
- Facilitated peer coaching process using a *case study provided by one of the coaches present (60 minutes)
- Closing circle (20 minutes)
If you would like to submit a case study, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Case study for submission" in the subject line. As the case provider, you will present a real and current coaching challenge (ensuring confidentiality) that you would like help on. You will receive insights from the new perspectives offered by the other coaches in a facilitated session which follows a specific structure and format. Guidelines will be provided on how to write up and present the case. All coaches present will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.
We look forward to welcoming you on the 31st of October.
