Client Breakthroughs: How to Coach in the Discomfort Zone
ICF Singapore Members : Free (Please log in to register for the webinar)
Summary of Topic:
Do you long to create powerful breakthrough results with your clients on a consistent basis? Attending this session will help take your coaching to the next level of mastery. You will learn how to create what feels like magic in your coaching by activating your presence and courage.
The foundation of masterful coaching depends on two things: presence and courage. In this session, you will learn how to go beyond transactional, results-focused coaching to using transformational, awareness-based, breakthrough coaching where clients see themselves and the world around them in a new way.
First, you will learn what are the most common coaching fears, keeping you from being fully present with your clients. Once you release your fears and barriers, you are better able to help your clients break down their hardened walls of resistance and reveal their blind spots.
Then the session will look at the power of disruption in coaching when amazing mental shifts occur. Dr. Reynolds will show how breakthroughs happen in the brain and how you can use the “discomfort zone” to help your clients create the awareness they need for change.
Finally, Dr. Reynolds will share the latest research on “therapeutic presence” from a neuroscience perspective and teach participants how they can create this phenomenon for themselves in their coaching. The session will include many examples and methods for coaches to use when their clients are stuck or resistant.
- Deepen your understanding of the difference between transactional and transformational coaching by learning how they differ in the brain.
- Discover your personal barriers to transformational coaching.
- Learn new methods of using your coaching presence to create new awareness and breakthrough moments in your coaching.
