Synopsis :

Exploring the Power of Team Coaching - An overview, a client panel and an experience

The ICF Singapore Chapter Team Coaching Community of Practice, welcomes you to an evening of immersion in team coaching.

Divided into three parts, the evening will include:

  • a brief review of the best best bits from books by leading practitioners
  • a panel discussion with experienced team coaches
  • an experience of a team coaching activity aimed at building trust and safety in teams

As coaching clients around the globe begin to truly understand the impact of one-to-one coaching, it's no surprise that coaches are increasingly applying their skills to teams and helping them get powerful results using a coaching approach.

Like anything new, the question 'What is team coaching?' is still being discovered and debated - is it facilitation? consulting? action learning? While we do not propose to know the 'correct' answer (we can have that debate another evening), tonight we want to give you an experience of team coaching by exploring it from three angels. We'll start by sharing the best bits of learning books written by expert practitioners; we will facilitate a panel discussion of team coaches talking about their practice and finally we will immerse you in an experiential activity used to help team members explore and build trust in order to do their best work together.

We hope you can join us for an exciting evening.

Part 2 – Review of Recorded Coaching Competency Session (2 CCEUs) Join us on 24th November for an engaging feedback and discussion about the ICF Core Competency Coaching Session pre-recorded on 10th November (see Part 1 under Events). It aims to deepen our understanding of the competencies, its applications, challenges, and explore ideas to overcome them. The session will also explore ways to sharpen the core competencies markers.

Advance registration is essential, $10 for members, $15 non-members. Please email to register.

These sessions are part of a pioneering project led by Avni Martin, Head of ICF Singapore Science & Research Committee to create video demonstrations of the 11 ICF Core Competencies to be published on the ICF Singapore website for members.
