Understanding the ICF competencies is essential for credentialed coaches as they continue their journey from ACC to PCC, and as they update their knowledge as part of the ICF requirement for Continuous Professional Development.
In this session, Professor Jonathan Passmore will explore the new ICF competencies launched in November 2019, with a specific focus on the Coach Mindset. Participants will explore ideas on reflective practice and how they can cultivate great self-awareness and situation awareness in their work in the service of their clients.

3. Be able to take actions to build and sustain the Coach Mindset
About the Speaker
Jonathan is professor of coaching at Henley business, a chartered psychologist and holds five degrees. He has written widely in coaching theory and practice, including 100 scientific articles and book chapters and over 30 books including ‘Becoming a Coach: The definitive ICF guide’ and ‘Leadership Coaching’. He is the director of the Henley Centre for Coaching which provides coach education (including ACTP and ACSTH programmes), coach research and continuous professional development through the Henley Centre for Coaching with CCEU credits for its 500 members. Before joining Henley Jonathan has worked as an executive coach and consultant, including for IBM and PWC consulting firms. In 2019 he was listed as one of the Top 8 coaches in the world in the Thinkers50 awards.
